This well-attended event was held on 2 August 2016 to kick-start local conversations around the advances in technology which are rapidly changing the way we live, communicate and do business.
Digital disruption is happening to many industries and so businesses need to be ahead of the game; the Tech-Innovation and Entrepreneur Forum invited local innovative, technical and entrepreneurial businesses to come together to encourage collaboration and a willingness to strive for excellence in innovation and technology.
The third annual Tech-Innovation and Entrepreneur event listened to some of the leaders of innovation and growth in the region as they shared insights into their journey, their wins and losses, and inspired guests to start and perservere in their own ventures.
Along with other notable speakers from Pitcher Partners and AusIndustry, guests were offered information on the current opportunities available to help them succeed.
A special feature of this event was the Young Entrepreneur Challenge, a shark-tank style event, where local young people presented their innovative products or services to a panel of judges in the hopes of winning the support and mentoring to fulfil their dreams.
